Unashamed Naked People
One of my roommates and I recently joined a local gym and I've been trying to go at least two or three times a week. And I've noticed recently that going to the gym can have its pluses and minuses. For example, when I check in and am given a key to a locker, I can either be blessed with a locker that is not surrounded by people and therefore easily accessible, or I can be stuck with a locker surrounded by talkative, outgoing, unashamed naked guys. A friend of mine once got stuck in that unfortunate situation and decided to try and maneuver his way to his locker and get out of there as quickly as possible. But apparently one of the guys next to him started talking with him and he ended up not being able to avoid a face to face conversation. Apparently this guy was a "close talker" as well, which is awkward enough when people are...well...clothed. And to make matters worse the unashamed naked guy put one of his legs up on the bench as he was growing more and more animated in his story telling. Fortunately for my friend the conversation didn't go beyond ten minutes or so and he was able to leave the locker room with his dignity. Yet for some reason, after their conversation my friend always remembered that guy as "Ballsy McBallserson".
Is it possible to be too unashamed of your body?

Some people are naturally confident in their own skin.
Though I walk around naked at home, I wouldn't be that confident in a public setting.
hahaha This made me giggle. Yeah, I'm not that comfortable with my body. I wouldn't talk to strangers in the nude.

That would be an uncomfotable situation but goes on at my gym all the time and some of the sites are not pretty. Judi

Yup aren't we all. We have some stalls at my gym but mostly everyone is out in the open. But at least at the one I go to they are not all young and hot. Some of us oldie but goodie still can go and work out and enjoy ourselves. Judi

Those kind of guys are exhibitionists. They are unashamed of their bodies.
Wow! That's fairly amazing. And...eww. I'm sorry, but I don't want anyone talking to me when they're naked except Robb. Those are the kinds of people that go home at night and tell their friends and significant others, "I totally had this guy stuck in a conversation with me for ten minutes with my balls swinging free in the wind. He was SO uncomfortable!"

Yes, there are those that are close talkers and naked at my gym too. I try hard not to make eye contact when i see them. It's almost as bad as the guy that wants to strike up a conversation while standing at the urinal, which by the way, you really should be dressed while you're standing there peeing.

Perhaps! That must have been such an awkward situation.
Maybe they have Exhibitionist symptoms? It is even more irritating for me to see such people when they gave the "Hey, check me out!" look! Blah!

There are boundaries and the thing they taught us when we were yougner about personal space. Maybe people should define it in the locker room.

funny! yes i think ppl can be too unashamed...i have a male friend who met girl via internet and her 1st time here she is pulling up naked pics of her for me & others to see her "modeling"....TMI !!! WAY too soon!
