  • What do you think about last night's vice-presidential debate?

After watching the debate last night I was left with a sense that there wasn't a clear winner, similar to like the McCain Obama debate. Overall I felt like Biden was quick with facts and numbers and proved to be the more experienced candidate. That being said, I felt that Palin held her own and really challenged the notion that she is simply a political lightweight. As a result, she's getting a lot of media attention from those who may have underestimated her.

This video was one of my favorite parts of the debate last night. It wasn't one of Palin's better moments, but her accent kinda cracks me up here..

    "Say it ain't so Joe"

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

  • Didn't watch the debates, just some clips on YouTube.  I was more impressed with Biden than Palin.  But, umm... No Child Left Behind needs to be dropped.  That's what she should've said.

  • you know, i am so glad that someone is asking this question in an open ended way. i really liked palin's manner of speaking, it is the first time i have heard her speak. i liked biden's speech as well. on the issues i was swayed towards obama even though i have been favoring mccain. so i really don't knwo anymore who my favorite is!

  • eh, i don't think it was her worst moment, anyway.  i like what she said about education.  no child left behind had good motives, but she's right - it needs WAY more flexibility. and we still need more funding, but i like that she focused more on the teachers and how they're paid and trained - plenty of inner city schools have received money and then not known what to do with it, or worse, spent it on CRAP while maintaining bottom level test scores.

i like her accent too - reminds me of the mom in bobby's world at the beginning there, "doggone it!"

  • seems to me politicians are either good or bad actors, thell them what you think they want to hear, or give them numbers,  facts(?)

well to keep sane i think not a moment more of the ?debate  as the winner come nov may always retract.. i know it's a new theory, oops i never said that i meant....  peace man

  • it's on my dvr, and i'm hoping to watch it today.

  • If by "Sarah Palin held her own" you mean she recklessly avoided answering questions and changed the subject a lot, then I guess maybe she did hold her own. She didn't completely fail, like she did in her interviews on TV, but the debate certainly wasn't a tie.

  • Unquestionably believe that that you stated. Your favourite justification appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to take into account of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed whilst other people think about issues that they plainly don’t recognize about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the top as well as outlined out the whole thing with no need side effect , folks could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks!

  • Payday advances aren't that evil so long as you
know what that you are getting into and also you take some time
pondering actually executing it and how you might later
    eliminate the loan.
