that depends…because of the celebrity him or herself? nada. but in how it’s used, or what is said speaks a lot into the personality and belief systems of the candidate.
oprah? not a fan. and she’s kind of a flake. “i knew him, and we are friends and…” it would be like me endorsing you just because you’re my friend. chuck norris? not a fan. but the ad was hilarious…and actually said things about the candidate, and norris came to huckabee to seek an opportunity to endorse him…so…it helped that candidate’s case with me…
Aww, I thought Oprah and Chuck were going to fight. :^/
And, celebrities don’t really have an effect on me when it comes to politics.
what ever chuck norris says that’s how it is
go Huckabee! (I’m voting for him after doing a lot of research online)
Well, if Chuck Norris told me to vote for someone, I’d probably do it out of fear and respect…
I don’t know…I think that it’s okay for a celebrity to say who they back, but I still think people should make their own choices about whom to elect.
not at all.
since i don’t usually hold the same opinions as most celebrities…or want to live their lifestyle…really, why should i listen to them to tell me who to vote for?
and who are they to be dictating & influencing anyway? have they proved to have good “life skills” that have made them into healthy, happy individuals? i think not.
0%. I’m not old enough to vote. And I don’t really care what they
think, because celebrities that try to influence people to vote for
THEIR choice are, essentially, normal people with overinflated egos.
Is Oprah really gonna care if I vote for – who’s she support, Obama? -
her candidate, if he still gets elected? No. She’ll just care if
he’s elected. Oprah doesn’t know that I exist, what makes her any
different? Or Chuck Norris?
Hello Pete,How are you doing lately??hope things are going well…
Just like a Geico commercial: having a real celebrity to assist with the interpretation. Why doesn’t anyone enlist Ozzy Osbourne on the campaign trail?!
ha! i’m canadian, so all this is irrelevant to me, but celebrity endorsements always make me question the product (or person) they’re selling more than encourage a higher opinion of the thing.

There is an online poll on this very topic on this site. chuckvsoprah.com I found it when I got an invite from the Chuck Vs Oprah Myspace
