Forgiving Sin
Because it is a personal relationship that is ruptured by sin, the restoration must be a very direct one-to-one, personal act.…Divine revelation shows us that our God is a personal God, incredibly loving and merciful and far more eager to forgive us creatures than we are eager to be forgiven.http://www.americancatholic.org/Features/Minute/default.asp

I had fun too! I’ve been listening to that cd you gave me – God’s given you a great gift and I’m glad to hear how you’re using it.
Cool. :spinning:
RYC: I was shocked Katherine didn’t go, really. Chris will do fine out on his own, though. I love Elliott, but…not as much as Taylor, I’ve decided. I wish them both the best…it’s a tough decision.
yes you’re right….
But as far as I read from you…
You didn’t answer precisely on the gap between God and I !
We’re separated because of the sin, and can be re-unified in God through a personal relationship with Jesus, yeah!
Whooop whoop yo, too much!
All the glory to Him, and let Him be the centre of your life…!
I have a question for you (just found your xanga by chance)…
What’s the first objective in your life?
Be blessed Pete, Phil from France
Hey, thanks for your thoughtful response. I agree that we experience God on earth, but I don’t think I could say that we “experience a great amount of heaven.” Our experience of God is such a tiny fragment of what it was intended to be and thus our experience of heaven will likewise be a tiny fragment in my opinion. I think we agree on the main point, but differ on the matter of degree
And I’m not sure what to think about Matt. 16:19, though I believe it’s more a statement about the presence of God’s Kingdom on heaven and in earth than it is a statement about the experience of heaven on earth.
