  • “Midwest Blizzard”

    Snow fills the frigid air,

    Swirling past city lights,

    Falling where it may.

    Carried by the blustery wind,

    Snowflakes hurry,

    Silently,

    Like the people walking,

    On this cold winter night.

  • You are exactly right. I am having some interesting and welcome thoughts by being in the presence of such history. It has been challenging to my faith to think of those who came before me and what Christ meant to them.

Thanks for stopping by my site!

  • i think we have gotten like 9 inches of snow here :)

    have a great day hon!!!

  • ryc:  I’m doing well, present condition excluded.  I’m coming down with something…my  immediate friends have all been through it and have dubbed it “the death,” so I’m not looking forward to being the last one who gets it…but I’m pretty sure I’m on the way.  Sore throat and general leaden limbs feeling…supposedly it turns into a wicked cough and crap…way fun.

But other than that, I’m doing really well…reading a lot…working.

    How about you?
