End Times
It seems that panic is hitting the streets, as thousands of Myspace user’s accounts have been deleted for no apparent reason. Does anybody know what’s going on over there at Myspace? Were they Y2K compliant? Or is this a sign of the end times? *begin twilight zone music*
*edit* Good news. It looks people are getting their accounts back. I found this on Wikipedia…
“On July 28, 2006, the MySpace servers appear to be down again. After logging in, users viewing the site, no matter what internet browser they were using, were greeted with the message “No authority could be contacted for authentication.” Others were greeted with the Invalid ID message, saying that their “account has either been cancelled or deleted” or were able to log in but could not view other users profiles. Around the time of 1:20 PM (eastern standard time), the Myspace servers were temporarily fixed, allowing people to quickly log in. However, by 1:40 PM (eastern standard time) they were once again down. As of approximately 2:20 (eastern standard time), the Myspace servers seem to be functioning. Around 4:45, the servers appeared to have gone down again, however have since been fixed with a few minor glitches. As an announcement posted by Tom Anderson on the site, Myspace employees were moving servers (where user settings, profiles, etc. are stored) to another data center to resolve the conflict of the power outage from July 22, 2006.”
Also, I took this quiz and I found the results interesting. I don’t think most people would consider me very dependant but I think in some ways I definitely am.
You May Be a Bit Dependent… You’re more than a little preoccupied with being abandoned.
You need a lot of support in your life, at all times.
It’s difficult for you to survive on your own…
And you don’t reallly think you ever could.

I got the same one. How are you doing? –Tiffany
Hi Pete,
My kids were complaining about that…but their Myspace stuff is back to normal…must have been a glitch.
I don’t use myspace.

HAHA I got borderline psycho w/ bad mood swings. That quiz was RIGHT on! Hilarious!
Personally, I’d find it hilarious is myspace blew up and the world went nuts. Now if xanga deleted my account… there might be blood to pay! Though I suppose some Myspacers would be pretty pissed about their blogs, I doubt much of it would compare to my entire public journal of a year and a half gone missing. I consider some of my entries to be my art. Some of the writing I’ve saved on Word, but how do I save my Puppy Adventures, ya know?
The My Space phenomenon has intrigued me ever since I learned about it. So many people have used it to connect socially on a number of levels. The site brings out some of the good/harsh realities that we live with in the world. Have a good weekend.

haha
check me out on myspace!
myspace.com/gdaly : wink :
and if my account gets deleted i’m gonna flip out
MySpace is never working at 100%.
My personality disorder seems to be OCD. This is not news to me, as I’ve self diagnosed myself with a mild/moderate for of it.
Now that blogthings agrees it is obviously true!
Apparently your thing wasn’t deleted, it was a thing saying that about everyone. I am now on myspace actually. It’s too bad about michael.
do you have any plans after school?
ryc: Look who’s talking! haha –Tiffany
Oh…i don’t have MySpace: unsure :hehe…hope you are having a good weekend Pete…
i got the same answer too. i don’t use myspace….i’m happy with xanga and don’t feel the need to go there. oh well….guess i’m boring
yeah. but i am not a myspace user.
I doubt that the end times could be justified according to myspace and its users. But I still do agree that witht he way the greedy humans are today, there isn’t much time left on this miserable little planet.
I should have stayed away from the personality disorder quiz too. : unsure :
hey what is up well comment back i seen your site and i just want to say hey…. you dont now me but oh well…………….well comment later Sarah
RYC: That is certainly true for me too. It depends on what is going on with me and what kind of mood I’m in when I take those quizzes as to the outcome. I had a bad week as far as my feelings about my divorce and so it came through on that on that day. I could probably take it again and hopefully wouldn’t be quite so bad…lol. They usually run pretty true as far as my personality and stuff. And I really can relate to the dependent when feeling alone or the opposite when feeling smothered. It makes me crazy!!! Hope you have a great week!
awwww…someone needs a sugar daddy. I’ll give you some numbers.
You got a compliment from your last comment…just thought I’d share it with ya.
I like Pete. Pete sounds smart.

I used to use a dating site and I went one dates from that, which is kind of like a blind date because no one EVER looks like their picture. I had good ones and bad ones, really bad ones. One guy wouldn’t take his hands off my thigh the whole night and it was our first date. FUN.
ryc-thanks man…….yeah, I come across as judgemental…….i’m over the top in truth, and low in mercy, hehe…….I really need to work on this! Hey come back and take this personality test on updated post…….it’s free and it’s pretty cool
ryc: That sounds like a good time too. Wisconsin was so much fun, just what I needed. Thanks for asking. — Tiffany
