“Secluded”
Brick by brick, stone by stone,
I build these walls alone.
Trapped inside, Secluded, alive,
I see the world through a tiny hole.
Seeing but not seen, Hearing but not heard,
I label humanity absurd.
Brick by brick, stone by stone,
I built these walls alone.

this is an all too common story in a Christian’s life, especially my own.
What inspired this writing?
Oops! Xanga was going a little slow, and I guess I was too impatient!
Nice to hear from you, Pete. The music is going really well. I would invite you to a show, but I’m out in Cincinnati these days.
I hope all is well with you.
Nice writing as well.

Hello,
Random comment here.
So thanks.
I just wanted to say that from the few poems of your’s that I’ve read, I like your poetry. “Secluded” is one of my favorites, and “Man Seeking Woman” made me laugh, which I thought was neigh on impossible for me in my current state.
