Well, chapel today went really well. My worship resources class was in charge of it, and we wanted to do something different. So we decided to incorporate video and music in a presentation of advent, and I think both aspects turned out well. The video was about the birth and death of Christ and how sometimes the gory details are glamorized and glossed over. The video crew did an excellent job with that. I was in the music group, and we wanted to keep things pretty contemplative. The instruments included keyboards and electronic programming, piano, xylophone, guitar, mandolin, and hammered dulcimer. It was a unique sound. Imagine techno meets celtic…or “technic.”
peace out, pedro.

i was so excited to hear you play the dulcimer this morning in chapel…..had no idea you knew how to play…..its such a cool distinct sound! Wonderful Job
i’m so sad i missed it…i love it when you play the hammer dulcimer.
hope you’re well!
shudder…you just reminded me of my high school physics teacher who used to always write physics is phun! YUCK. i’m doing pretty well, thanks.
yeah. i’m sorry i missed it too. dangit. how come you don’t tell me about these things in advance???
Alaska is pretty nice in the summer. It’s beautiful here when you know where to go. I like to get isolated every now and then and just go exploring. It’s great. And I love it when people have a talent, especially an artistic talent and use it. So to involve those talents in your life is a good thing for sure. And mixing it all up in church makes for things being unique. And I’m sure they appreciate your involvement.
Keep it up and take care.
good luck on that. it’s an hour later and i’m almost done i think. i dont know how i do it. its a project i was supposed to be working on all semester, but instead have thrown it together at the last minute. you seem to be more on top of it all than i am. i’m jealous!!
Thanx pedro!

I don’t dispute that both parties got us into the war.
The democrats are just as much to blame as the
republicans and the bush administration. Even then,
the people that got us INTO it, that’s not the issue
I was talking about. I’m talking about who is going
to get us OUT of it. I don’t care whose fault the war
is. It’s already happened. Now we need to focus on
the future and lay out specific plans for finishing up
and getting our troops out. The Democrats are the
ones that are currently being the most vocal about
it. GW Bush doesn’t want to lay out a specific outline
for withdrawl and just goes on with his “Stay the course”
rhetoric. I’m siding with the Democrats NOW in saying
“Tell us what’s going on” and “Get this thing over with.”
Are you doing alright? I may be reading too much into your tone of your comments (primarily the ones on my site), but I would hate to not ask. It seems like you’re down or something. If I’ve overanalyzed, I’m sorry. That is typical for me.
