  • the Journey

    I’ve seen way too much,
    For just one soul.
So young but feeling so old.

    So many people,
    In this city so old.
    I’ve seen way too much.

    I walk alone,
    Towards my home.
So young but feeling so old.

    My journey home,
Like a journey to my soul.
    I’ve seen way too much.

    ‘Ugghh,’ I sigh,
    ‘Let me rest tonight.’
So young but feeling so old.

    Walking beneath city lights,
My breath freezes from the cold.
    I’ve seen way too much.
So young but feeling so old.
