In high school I played baseball and basketball Freshman and Sophomore years. Overall I liked it though I never considered myself a "jock". Junior year I tried out for baseball but didn't make the team because I didn't go to summer baseball camp. My excuse was that I had a job so I couldn't make it but that didn't seem to suffice for the coaches, so I joined jazz band instead.
Last year I joined a city softball team and loved it. It was more laid back than high school sports though it was still competitive. This summer I wasn't able to join softball because I was too busy with music and work. I've always enjoyed sports but I've never gotten into the really high competitiveness that is found in high school and even grade school sports. Would you rather spend your time playing sports, watching sports, or neither?
I LOVE playing (volleyball) I could play all day. I really like watching sports (especially baseball and volleyball). I dont think I could go without sports, but thats my job...watching sports, preventing and treating injuries.
I'm not much for playing "sports" really. I like "games" better. Pool and Bowling are sports, but their not quite the same as, like, football and stuff. I guess being a perfectionist, it just urks me knowing that theres that many people on my team who aren't playing the game the way I would. Pool, Bowling, and other games where I'm the only person on the team, are really more my thing. Wow. That was pretty deep!
Neither. That's for sure. The first time I realize someone's actually counting on me to have some amount of skill, I'd quit. It's too much pressure for me. As far as athletics is concerned, I'm not a team player. Give me badminton or tennis.
Cool! What instrument did you play in jazz band? I played upright bass in my h.s. jazz band. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Jazz band & orchestra (violin) were the reason I got up in the morning. Do you still play jazz?

as a former goal keeper i would have had to retired in shame oh you also have great photos the concorse shot blows me away. bravo..
@allthingsbarbara - I played bass guitar in highschool concert and jazz bands. It was a small highschool so they allowed bass in the concert band. I really don't play bass much at all anymore though on occasion I'll play for my church. Mostly I'm a guitarist these days.
Wow! I love sports!!! I play volleyball, badminton, basketball, and a little bit of softball and I love them all! I just wish I could have more time to play and someone to play with. Also money to buy all the stuff needed in playing(specifically for softball)....
